BBH Team Event in Riga: Worth a Trip?!

Definitely! The results of the joint voting for the 2019 BBH teambuilding destination was quickly clear: Riga it is. The capital of Latvia, on the banks of the Daugava river near beautiful, white Baltic beaches, offered us a wide range of attractions such as: a medieval town, entire streets with well-preserved Art Nouveau architecture and numerous green spaces. In addition, we were thrilled by the multi-variant gastronomical offers and the sheer number of cafes, restaurants and clubs. Riga has everything the BBH heart desires.

10 “BBHers” were completely thrilled by the city and the hospitable Latvians for four days. According to the mandatory program, we started with an informative, guided tour of the city with many highlights and cell phones permanently pulled out in order to capture everything. The 42m high “Milda” – the Freedom Monument of the Latvians – was, then, a good meeting point for all our exploratory tours through the city.

A guide steered us out of the city with bikes and we enjoyed a longer ride to the Baltic Sea beach of Jurmala. The next day, in sunshine, a leisurely sailing trip on the Daugava river followed – past old port facilities with a lot of industrial charm in the “shabby chic.”

Saturated with many impressions, we went back home on Sunday – with the certainty that we as a team are even better fortified to give our very best for our customers.
